As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, putting on a genuine smile, taking orders, prepping food for our salad bar, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. while serving up rediculously tasty food in a fin and fresh way. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering high-quality food and beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Assist with bartending duties as needed, including mixing drinks and serving alcohol responsibly. No experience needed.
- Handle cash register transactions, including cash handling and processing credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns or special requests.
- Provide recommendations for menu items based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bartending skills are a plus, particularly knowledge of brewing techniques or cocktail preparation.
- Serving customers with a smile and a genuine conversation.
