Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Toast) system
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in food handling, basic food prep, and serving snacks or light meals as needed
Requirements
- Prior barista experience or background in coffee service is preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for retail math calculations
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
