Job Summary:
Vivo Healthcare Normandy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and satisfaction. In this part-time position, you will assist with food preparation, maintenance of the dietary department, and support the dietary team in providing a positive and nourishing experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dietary team with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and serving food
Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards
Support patient satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate food delivery
Monitor and maintain accuracy of patient nutrition requirements and special dietary needs
Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and minimize delays
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient rights and dignity
Requirements:
1 years of experience preferred in a healthcare setting
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain a positive and patient-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with dietary software and computer systems a plus
