We are seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Saw Operator Per Print to join our team on 1st shift Mon-Fri, 6:00am-3:30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate saw to make straight cuts or cuts by degree in steel to customer specifications.
- Read production order or blueprints to locate cutting layout lines on stock to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Verify conformance to customer's specifications.
- Maintain equipment and machinery.
- Follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
- Follow all Company saw cutting guidelines.
Experience
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on operation of saw machinery or machining tools.
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise fabrication tasks.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely
- Prior warehouse experience involving materials handling with forklifts or similar equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and quality assurance processes ensures consistent product excellence.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Read tape measure
- AS400 computer experience a plus.
- Operate crane
- Operate a forklift
Pay: $20.00 per hour
