Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technician (R.NCS.T.) to join our dynamic Neurology office full-time. In this vital role, you will perform nerve conduction studies to assist in diagnosing neurological conditions, ensuring accurate and efficient assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nerve conduction studies on patients, accurately recording electrical activity of peripheral nerves and muscles.
- Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses during testing, promptly addressing any adverse reactions or discomfort.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, ensuring clarity and accuracy for clinical review.
- Experience
- Certification as a Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technician (R.NCS.T.)
- Prior experience performing nerve conduction studies in a clinical setting required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to neurology and neurodiagnostics.
- Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
