We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic. You will be expected to accomplish tasks independently while working as part of a team.
DA front and back office duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that OSHA and CDC guidelines are followed when cleaning/sterilizing instruments and workstations.
- Prepare all necessary trays for dental procedures.
- Take and develop X-rays.
- Assist dentists during dental procedure in an efficient and professional manner.
- Explain post-op instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner.
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Check in appointments upon patient's arrival
- Answer and make phone calls
- Verify insurance, collect copay, submit prior authorizations
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant with X-ray License.
- Working knowledge and experience in all phases of dental procedures.
- Demonstrated ability with 4-handed dentistry.
- Bilingual Chinese and English OR Bilingual Spanish and English (Required)
- Familiar with digital radiography (Preferred)
Job Type: Part time (24-32 hours per week, 8 hours per day)
Schedule: Working on Saturdays may be required.

- BLS Certification (up to date)
