Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and ladder logic to identify root causes quickly.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Install new appliances and ensure proper setup by following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive inspections to prolong appliance lifespan and optimize performance.
- Operate company vehicles such as box trucks for delivery, installation, or service calls while adhering to safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair processes, answer questions, and provide maintenance tips to enhance their experience.
- Maintain detailed service records, update logs accurately, and complete reports on all service activities for accountability and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or field service with a strong background in electrical work, mechanical systems, refrigeration, HVAC or plumbing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex equipment issues effectively.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for installation and repairs.
- Knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices to ensure safe and efficient work procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or service vans; delivery driver experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy appliances, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in various environmental conditions.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
