Our Membership-Based Medical private practice in Bethesda seeks someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to get along with others to serve as its Medical Assistant. Outstanding customer service and being detail-oriented are a must for our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories.
- Perform injections, EKGs, and other clinical tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Assist with care coordination, referrals, and prior authorizations
- Support membership onboarding and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and clinical areas
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred)
- 1–3 years of clinical experience in primary care or similar setting
- Strong clinical skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable in a patient-focused, concierge-style environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
