Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding guest services.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support the culinary team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order delivery and address any guest requests or concerns.
- Support banquet operations by efficiently delivering food items during events.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while interacting with guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Experience in food preparation and knowledge of kitchen operations are advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices, particularly within hotel settings.
- Previous experience in bussing or serving roles is beneficial but not required.
