We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees to achieve sales goals. This position requires strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to training and developing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train staff to provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order stock as needed. Ensure the store is properly stocked and organized.
- Create and implement sales strategies to meet sales goals.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy. Oversee cash handling and banking procedures
- Manage expenses to meet budget guidelines
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors
- Ensure excellent customer service. Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; majoring in business management or a related field is preferred
- Experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Ability to effectively communicate in English; bilingual skills are a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
