Description:
The Ferdinand Branch Library is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our patrons and staff. Duties include routine cleaning and ensuring the facility remains safe and orderly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of library spaces, including restrooms, reading areas, meeting rooms, and staff areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust regularly
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Report any safety issues, needed repairs, or building concerns to library staff
- Help ensure the facility remains safe, orderly, and inviting for the community
Requirements:
- Be reliable and self-motivated
- Be able to work independently
- Have good time-management skills
- Take pride in maintaining a clean community space
