Overview
YUMI Lashes USA is looking for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Content Filming Assistant to join our Beverly Hills salon team.
This position is not a content creator or editing role. We are looking for someone who knows how to professionally film social media content, capture beautiful photos and videos, and send organized content to our social media manager/editor for posting and editing.
The ideal candidate understands lighting, angles, clean beauty shots, behind-the-scenes content, client transformations, and how to capture content that feels luxury, polished, and social media ready.
We are looking for someone who is attentive, proactive, and takes initiative without needing constant direction. This person should be aware of everything happening in the salon, know how to recognize a beautiful moment as it happens, and be ready to capture it quickly and professionally.
The right candidate is not afraid to move around, adjust their position, find the best lighting, and do what needs to be done to get the right angle or shot, while still being respectful of clients, staff, and the salon environment.
Responsibilities
- Film short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and Stories
- Take high-quality photos and videos of services, results, products, salon details, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Capture before and after content of lash lifts, brows, facials, skin treatments, products, trainings, classes, and salon activity
- Follow content direction from the owner, manager, or social media team
- Organize and send all footage and photos to the social media manger/editor
- Make sure content is clear, well-lit, flattering, and aligned with the YUMI Lashes USA luxury brand image
- Assist with filming content during busy salon days, trainings, events, and client appointments when approved
- Respect client privacy and salon confidentiality at all times
Experience
- Experience filming content for social media
- Strong eye for beauty, detail, lighting, and angles
- Comfortable filming in a salon, beauty, or luxury service environment
- Must be organized and able to send content quickly and clearly
- Must be reliable, professional, discreet, and respectful around clients
- Basic understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and trending content styles
- No editing required, but basic knowledge of what makes content visually strong is important
- Beauty, skincare, salon, or fashion content experience is a plus
*It is also a plus if you have experience operating and using a professional camera, such as a Canon camera, in addition to filming with a phone or other social media content equipment.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys filming beautiful content, understands social media visuals, and can help us capture the daily luxury experience inside YUMI Lashes USA.
