Job Summary
Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lube Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles operate smoothly and safely. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections quickly and accurately.
- Conduct alignments, tire services, and other routine maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools.
- Assist in automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Use mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs or maintenance under supervision when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
- Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle’s needs and explain services performed.
- Support the service team with vehicle maintenance tasks, heavy lifting, and other duties as assigned to ensure efficient workflow.
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background is highly preferred.
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and vehicle systems.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures including oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general vehicle upkeep.
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while providing technical explanations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
