Part-time Hours!
The Toledo Clinic's Family Practice office located at 4126 N Holland-Sylvania Rd in Toledo OH is seeking a part-time Credentialed Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA/CCMA). This position will work Mondays (9 am - 5 pm), Tuesdays (9 am - 12:30 pm), and Thursdays (9 am - 12:30 pm).
Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. If qualified, sign on bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT-A). For employees that have not yet obtained or renewed their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants may be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.
General Summary
Assist physician(s) with patient treatment, prepares patient for physician(s), and performs various clerical duties.
Works under the supervision of the Office Coordinator and Physician(s).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.

Assist Drs. with patient care (i.e.: assisting with minor procedures/surgeries such as removing sutures, staples, moles, etc.).

Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).

Escorting patients to exam room.

Preparing exam rooms.
-
Preparing patient for Drs. (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).

Sterilizing and preparing instruments.

At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills.

Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.

Follow up with lab work and/or x-rays.

Administering injections.

Education:

Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school.
Preferred:

Clinical medical office experience.
