We are seeking an experienced Side Dump CDL Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Transporter, to join our team. Candidates should have 2+ years experience excellent attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to work as a leader on our team and maintain a "can do" attitude.

Experience:
Duties
- Safely operate side dump trucks equipped with CDL A licenses to haul materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris on construction sites.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload materials efficiently, coordinating with site managers and equipment operators like excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, and trench safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Follow all safety protocols including proper signaling, load securing, and adherence to traffic laws while on-site or on public roads.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, site conditions, and potential issues.
- Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs when necessary to minimize downtime.
Experience
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record is required.
- Prior 2 years experience operating dump trucks in construction or heavy civil projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and minor repairs.
