Job Overview
Lion Plumbing Med is seeking an experienced Service Plumber to join our commercial and healthcare plumbing team.
This position is ideal for a skilled plumber who is confident working independently, diagnosing plumbing problems, completing repairs efficiently, and communicating professionally with customers and facility personnel.
Our Service Plumbers work throughout South Florida servicing hospitals, medical facilities, commercial buildings, and other occupied facilities where professionalism, cleanliness, safety, and quality workmanship are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial plumbing service, maintenance, and repair calls.
- Diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate repairs.
- Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, valves, piping, drains, and related components.
- Troubleshoot leaks, stoppages, water pressure issues, and other plumbing system problems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and plumbing inspections.
- Complete assigned service calls efficiently and professionally.
- Communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers and company management.
- Document work performed, materials used, and job status accurately.
- Identify additional plumbing issues or potential repairs while onsite.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and assigned service vehicle.
- Keep work areas clean and minimize disruption to occupied facilities.
- Follow applicable plumbing codes, OSHA requirements, facility policies, and company safety procedures.
- Coordinate with facility representatives, Project Managers, and other trades when necessary.
- Participate in emergency and after-hours service when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing service experience preferred.
- Strong commercial plumbing troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Ability to diagnose plumbing problems independently.
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, valves, piping, and drainage systems.
- Ability to read basic plumbing drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to complete service documentation accurately.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Healthcare Experience Preferred
Experience performing plumbing service in hospitals, medical facilities, occupied commercial buildings, or other sensitive environments is highly desirable.
