Job Details:
- Pay: $80.00 per hour - $84.00 per hour (DOE)

Minimum Qualifications
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing is required
Licenses and Certifications:
- Active California RN License required
- BLS from American Heart Association is required
- ACLS from American Heart Association required
- PALS from American Heart Association is required
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of RN Peds experience is required
- EPIC and in basket triage experience is strongly preferred
- Outpatient clinical experience strongly preferred
- Pediatric exposure is a plus
- GI experience is preferred
Responsibilities: You will provide direct and indirect patient care in a busy outpatient Gastroenterology clinic. This role involves a strong focus on care coordination, clinical triage, and procedure support within a collaborative, physician-led environment.
- Triage incoming phone calls and in-basket messages, assessing patient needs, prioritizing urgency, and ensuring timely clinical follow-up
- Review, process, and manage Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders in coordination with providers, patients, and external vendors
- Support gastrostomy tube (G-tube) management, including patient guidance, troubleshooting support, and clinical follow-up as needed
- Assist with nasogastric (NG) tube-related care and coordination based on patient needs and provider direction
- Provide patient and family education for colonoscopy preparation, ensuring clear understanding of instructions and procedural readiness
- Deliver high-volume indirect patient care including documentation, EMR management, messaging, and follow-up coordination
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure continuity and efficiency of outpatient GI services
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols and standards of care
- Provide patient-centered, compassionate communication with a strong focus on education, advocacy, and support
- Adapt to a fast-paced outpatient environment while effectively managing multiple clinical priorities
