Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast stations with fresh ingredients, beverages, and accompaniments, ensuring all items are presented attractively and meet quality standards
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive service and answering any questions about menu options or dietary preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety sanitizing procedures throughout the breakfast area, adhering strictly to food safety management protocols
- Serve food and beverages efficiently using proper serving techniques, including knowledge of wine and beverage pairings when applicable
- Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace with care and precision during food preparation and service
- Restock supplies promptly to ensure smooth operation during busy breakfast hours while managing food handling responsibilities responsibly
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions when necessary, ensuring smooth billing processes
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining, restaurant service, catering or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management practices
- Experience with food handling, food preparation, and serving techniques in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with wine knowledge and beverage service is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Experience with POS systems for order processing and billing purposes
- Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Food industry or culinary experience that demonstrates a passion for quality service and presentation
