Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN requiring 2+ years of EP/Cath experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

nnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting within an acute care hospital
1:1 patient ratio
Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekend coverage required as part of call rotation
On-call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month plus one weekday call shift per week, subject to change based on staffing needs
No floating to other service lines or sister facilities required
Uses Epic for charting

BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA certifications only)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
EP/Cath Lab experience required
Community hospital experience required
Skills required include cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and Impella insertion
Experience with circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring required
Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency
Driver's license and SSN required for consideration

, perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, and circulate during cath lab and EP lab cases
Administer and monitor procedural sedation as part of patient care
Hospital-issued scrubs provided for the Cath Lab unit
Free parking available in designated lots and garages near the facility, with garage clearance suited for average SUV/truck size vehicles
First-time travelers may be accepted depending on qualifications
Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application for consideration
During hurricane season (June through November, peak August-September), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
