Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Pay: $25–$30/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 10-Hour Shifts
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
This is a full-time position offering a consistent 4-day workweek with flexible start times.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday
- Flexible start time: 5:00 AM, 5:30 AM, or 6:00 AM
- 10-hour shifts ending approximately 3:30 PM–4:30 PM
- Three-day weekends every week
Compensation
- $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, wiring, and building systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues using repair manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Replace defective components and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools.
- Operate a variety of maintenance tools, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- Order or obtain replacement parts and maintenance supplies as needed.
- Perform general building maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Assist with other maintenance functions and projects as assigned.
- Safely operate equipment while following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
QualificationsRequired
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and facility maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, reach, climb, kneel, and lift materials.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots.
