Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our crew as Closing Team Members. As a Closing Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring we meet our mission of staying loose, having fun, and being a strong & successful bakery for our community. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system (Square POS)
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery, following detailed checklists and guidelines provided
- Move quickly to assist customers and support your team
- Prepare sandwiches and package baked goods as needed to support the team & customer, as properly trained to do
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Follow all food safety guidelines and adhere to proper food handling procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math and retail math for cash handling purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Please note that all our positions share a tip pool, which adds anywhere from $3-5 more to your minimum hourly wage in a given month.
Shifts are typically 10 AM - 6 PM, 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM, or 12:30 PM - 7:30 PM. The ideal candidate is looking for 2-3 shifts a week, with consistent availability on Saturday or Sunday.
