The Senior Director of Operations is a strategic leader responsible for the overall management and performance of four nursing home facilities. This executive role ensures high-quality care, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, financial performance, and effective vendor management, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operational Leadership
Provide executive oversight and direction for all facility operations.
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Mentor and guide facility leadership teams to drive performance and engagement.
Quality & Resident Care
Ensure consistent delivery of safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to implement quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (CMS, OSHA).
Financial Oversight
Oversee budgets, cost control, and resource allocation across facilities.
Analyze operational metrics and implement performance-enhancing strategies.
Participate in long-term financial planning and capital projects.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all facilities meet or exceed federal, state, and local regulations.
Prepare for inspections, audits, and surveys.
Maintain policies in line with accreditation standards and union agreements.
Vendor Management
Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and relationships across all facilities.
Ensure service and supply agreements meet quality, compliance, and budget requirements.
Collaborate with vendors to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resident satisfaction.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a liaison between corporate leadership, facility teams, and external stakeholders.
Represent the organization in community, healthcare, and professional forums.
