MUST HAVES:
· A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline is preferred
· Experience with PCB builds, design, and root cause analysis (7+ years)
· Knowledge and experience with embedded systems programming (microprocessor, FPGA, and CPLD)
· Proficiency in Mentor Graphics PADS and DxDesigner.
- Strong background in digital, analog, and RF circuit development.
· Knowledge of analog/digital circuit design
· Experience with electronic testing and troubleshooting
· Familiarity with Visual Basic and C++
· Soldering and assembly of discrete wiring, breadboarding, and PCB repair
· Understanding and ability to read mechanical drawings in orthographic projection and 3d models
· Additional Skills: Programming experience in any of: Git, C#, C++, VHDL, Visual Studio, Vivado, FPGA, MATLAB/Octave, Python, Autodesk Inventor, CAD
Responsibilities:
· Contributing to hardware development and production for a wide array of current projects in the field of electromagnetic sensing, EM-based spectroscopy, and signature assessment
· Construct new hardware to support new features of our product suite
· Coordinate with PCB hardware development team for design reviews, schematic reviews, and layout reviews
· Manage design of power supplies and monitor power distribution
· Collaborate with Project Managers to keep project within scope and on time
· Generate and maintain engineering documentation including assembly drawings and test procedures
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
