Job Goal: To supervise custodial, maintenance, grounds, and contracted personnel as assigned by the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds
Reports to: Supervisor of Building and Grounds

Qualifications required but not limited to include:

Ability to coordinate, assign, monitor, and follow up on the work of custodial, maintenance, grounds, and contracted personnel as directed by the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of building operations, school construction, preventive maintenance, custodial operations, grounds operations, safety practices, and basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and building envelope systems.
- Experience using or ability to learn computerized maintenance management systems, work-order systems, building automation systems, access control systems, security systems, computer programs, and other facility-related technology.
- Ability to prepare clear written reports, maintain accurate records, document facility conditions, track open items, and communicate effectively with administrators, staff, vendors, and contractors. Communication includes but not limited to verbal communication, email, telephone, text, and video conferencing.
- Experience estimating labor, materials, and basic project requirements, and coordinating contracted work under the direction of the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.

Holds a Black Seal license in accordance with state certification requirements, if required by the District or applicable law.
- Must be willing to respond to facility emergencies and be on call as assigned for emergencies that occur in and around school buildings outside normal working hours.
- Must be able to lift and push up to 75 lbs., twist, push, kneel, stand, climb, access mechanical spaces, and work for extended periods in the physical conditions associated with school facility operations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between district facilities, if required by the District.
