The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of External Services, Customer and Outreach Services Program - Vehicle Registration Section, is recruiting for a Training Program Coordinator to identify training needs and develop classroom, on-line, eLearning and other forms of training directly related to the operational needs of the agency and bureau.
This position has statewide responsibility and may be headquartered at any DNR facility within the state, depending on office space availability and the location of the selected candidate. Remote work may be available for a portion of the work week, after the initial onboarding period!
The Bureau of Customer and Outreach Services (COS) team members specialize in answering questions related to Wisconsin hunting, fishing, and trapping regulations and license purchases, off highway vehicle registration and boat titling, and serve as first point of contact for customers seeking general information about Department services, programs, properties, and program contacts. COS staff also provide information and services to internal and external partners by responding to and routing information received from department tip lines and hotlines. COS manages the department’s online license issuance system called Go Wild and supports more than 900 private sector license agents and dealers. COS team members staff the DNR’s statewide call center answering calls and emails.
