Partners Personnel is hiring an experienced Line Mechanic to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. You will help keep production safe, reliable, and efficient by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment.
You will be employed by Partners Personnel and assigned to a manufacturing client’s worksite. The client’s identity will be shared with qualified candidates during the recruiting process.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fillers, conveyors, labelers, motors, and other production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Install, align, and commission new equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
- Support production changeovers, line setups, and equipment adjustments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Perform minor fabrication and machining using shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic PLC-controlled systems and coordinate with controls technicians as needed.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and safely shut down, assess, repair, and restart equipment.
- Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
- Work with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical disciplines preferred.
- Two to five years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in aerosol production, liquid filling, or a similar operation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, and filling equipment.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills involving motors, sensors, and control circuits.
- Experience troubleshooting and performing basic diagnostics on PLC systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems; CMMS experience preferred.
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Basic machining and fabrication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as needed.
Pay
Shifts
- Monday-Thurday, with availability on Friday
- 1st shift: 6am-4:30pm
- 2nd shift: 5pm-330am
