Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team. This role involves hands-on work with electrical systems in both construction and industrial settings. Candidates are expected to work with other electricians and apprentices to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components across a variety of projects. Applicants should posses a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a solid foundation in electrical knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams including NEC codes and low/high voltage schematics (not required but USEFUL)
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues
- Follow safety protocols related to low voltage and high voltage systems
- Support the setup of electrical panels and control systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Requirements:
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Basic knowledge of wiring methods and circuitry
- Proficient in conduit bending and installation (3/4" to 4")
- Understanding of basic motor controls
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in a variety of conditions
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry practices
- Must be able to work as a W-2 employee (no independent contractors)
- Ability to travel to and report to various job sites independently, based on project needs
- Prior electrical work experience is required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
