Certified Dietary Manager must be CDM/CFPP in State of Michigan with degree in Hospitality or Food Service Management with training in foodservice management and food safety. Must be currently certified and continue to recertify as required by Michigan Law.
Manager will run the day to day food service operations for Bishop Noa Home facility. Management of food service employees, scheduling, payroll approval, hiring employees, budgeting and purchasing, meal planning and inventory control. Expect to interact daily with nursing staff, resident and family members, CDM is a critical player in the Nutrition At Risk program for residents as well as a part of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team, completing accurate MDS reports and submissions and consults with RD routinely. Hours and days at times may vary, may be expected to work more than 8 hour shift, holidays or weekends as needed.
