Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Busser/Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests’ tables
- Support the cleaning of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
- Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests and responding to their needs with enthusiasm
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with guests
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing is a plus
- Previous banquet or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory
- Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach to hospitality
