Job Summary:
As a Part-Time Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents enjoy a positive dining experience in our community dining room. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals, and providing outstanding customer service in a warm and welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for working with seniors and strive to make a difference in their lives.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor and a warm smile.

Present menus and explain daily specials to residents.

Take meal orders accurately and efficiently.

Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.

Assist residents with special dietary needs, preferences, and allergies as necessary.

Clear tables and clean dining areas between meals.

Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after meal service.

Build positive relationships with residents and encourage social interactions during meals.

Communicate any resident concerns to the dining services manager.

Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.

A passion for working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to handle a fast-paced environment.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
