Responsibilities

- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Ensure all food safety procedures are followed diligently, including proper sanitation and handling of food items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation procedures
- Assist with setting up tables, refilling supplies, and clearing dishes to keep the dining area organized and inviting
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a cooperative attitude
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and transaction handling
