We are looking for 3 competent bilingual RDA's who will join our dental clinic team and work to create a great experience for our patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and will be well-organized with great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care!
You must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have at least 6 months of experience as a RDA. Ideal candidate would have 1-4 years recent experience as a RDA with All age patient experience. Starting pay will depend on your experience/certification/education, our pay range is $26.00 - $31.00
- Open Job #1 - Clinic hours are: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri 10am - 6:30pm and every other Saturday 8am - 5pm. You will have Monday off on the week you work Saturday.
- Open Job #2 - Clinic hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm and may have rotating Saturday hours.

Job Summary: Registered Dental Assistant performs standard dental assisting techniques in support of the dentist; provides high quality dental care when procedures are within the scope of training; enters data into the Electronic Dental Record (EDR); and completes other maintenance and support tasks as directed. Has in depth knowledge of each procedure, instruments and materials used.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Registered Dental Assistants must practice within scope of the services permitted by their licensure in the state of California. · Assists dental providers with dental care and administrative duties as directed by supervisors. · Works with dental providers to enhance service options. · Takes X-rays safely and accurately · Competent in assisting in all aspects of general dentistry. · Works well with all providers and other staff members and is a team player. · Can take directions well while assisting dental providers · Has in depth knowledge of all procedure, instruments and materials used for each procedure · Able to set up and clean up after each patient according to the protocol · Competent to process, clean and sterilize the instruments · Participates in cleaning and maintenance of dental equipment (autoclaves, etc) · Able to read patient’s records, provide appropriate consent forms as needed · Able to understand patient’s medical history, medical alerts, allergies and limitations · Maintains current knowledge of each procedure and be able to give post operative instructions as instructed by the provider · Able to use and work with EDR accurately · Follows all safety guidelines indicated for operator and patients during x-ray machine use · Take accurate vital signs including blood pressure · Keep all equipment logs accurately and up to date according to the instructions or as directed · Able to follow a schedule and perform all tasks assigned · Documents patient related information and encounters for compliance and completeness. · Collaborates with the front desk to maintain a balance in the flow of the clinic ·
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE:
- Valid CA Registered Dental Assistant License
- Certificate of completion of Dental Radiation Safety in the State of California
- Minimum 6 months of chairside dental assisting experience required
- Bilingual English and Spanish required for both written and verbal communications including dental terminology.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Works successfully and respectfully with patients of diverse backgrounds and cultures;
- Prior knowledge of EDR and digital X-rays preferred
- Active BLS certification
