Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Barback and <PERSON>, where you'll be the backbone of our venue’s beverage and food service operations. In this energetic role, you'll support bartenders and <PERSON> by maintaining a clean, organized bar area, assisting with food and beverage prep, and ensuring smooth service for our guests. Duties
- Assist bartenders and <PERSON> with bar setup, restocking supplies, and cleaning bar surfaces to ensure a hygienic workspace
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, cleaning equipment, and moving stock around the venue
- Buss tables promptly by clearing empty glasses, plates, and trash to maintain a tidy dining area
- Support food preparation activities in compliance with food service bar safety standards, including basic food handling and sanitation practices
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling, order processing, and transaction accuracy
- Ensure venue beverage service runs smoothly by supporting with drink assembly and replenishing stock during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area through regular cleaning routines including bar cleaning and general venue sanitation
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within hospitality or catering settings
- Familiarity with bar experience including beverage preparation, venue beverage service, and food industry standards
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, including food service bar safety compliance
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods
- Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking and quick problem-solving skills
