Overview
Black Box Entertainment is looking for professional DJs to join our team for weddings, parties, and corporate events. You must have your own professional equipment to be considered. We find the clients and book the events; you show up and bring the energy.
The Job
- Gear: You are responsible for bringing, setting up, and breaking down your own professional sound and lighting equipment.
- Music: Play the right music for the crowd and keep the transitions smooth. You’ll need to know how to read a room.
- MC Work: Make announcements clearly and keep the event moving with a professional, friendly attitude.
- Setup: Make sure everything sounds great and looks clean before the guests arrive.
- Teamwork: Work with us and the event planners to make sure the client is happy.
What You Need
- Your Own Equipment: You must own your own speakers, mixer, mics, and lighting.
- Skills: You need to be great at mixing music and comfortable speaking on the mic.
- Reliability: You show up on time and look professional.
- Physical: You can handle the heavy lifting of your gear for setup and breakdown.
- Personality: Friendly, helpful, and passionate about music. (Experience in bartending or hospitality is a nice plus!)

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
