Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct diesel engine repairs and heavy equipment mechanics work as needed for specialized vehicles.
- Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles are returned in top condition.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and understanding of automotive electrical systems.
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repair, auto estimating, and GM vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment procedures, brake repair, transmission repair, and oil change services.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrain systems including transmissions and diesel engines; experience working on heavy equipment or diesel mechanics is advantageous.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and work efficiently with mechanical systems repair using various hand tools and power tools.
- Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and safety standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
