- Minimum of 5-years of mechanical experience in an european automotive service department is required.
- Qualified applicants will have a positive attitude, the motivation to deliver exceptional customer service, a professional appearance, the willingness to learn, and an open mind.
- Applicants should also have a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a valid South Carolina driver’s license with clean driving record.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Adheres to Mercedes-Benz guidelines for service
- Maintains and repairs Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as other makes
- Conducts multi-point vehicle inspections and notates recommendations for repair and replacement
- Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor
- Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed
- Checks coolant level and refills as necessary
- Performs certified pre-owned inspections as per Mercedes-Benz guidelines
- Ensures that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints
- Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
- Participates in required training
- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
- Complies with company policies and procedures
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- 5 years of experience in a dealership position
- General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
- Professional personal appearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license is required

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
