Recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Network & Cybersecurity Engineer to support and enhance enterprise network, security, and AWS cloud environments. This role combines hands-on engineering, advanced troubleshooting, security governance, and infrastructure project implementation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco networking, Fortinet security solutions, cloud networking, and cybersecurity best practices. W2, no sponsorship requirements, on site 2 days
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switching infrastructure, and enterprise network security controls.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures across on-premises and AWS environments.
- Manage routing and connectivity technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPNs, and NAT.
- Support Cisco ISE, CyberArk PAM, Zero Trust initiatives, and cloud security frameworks.
- Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation efforts.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues using packet analysis, logs, and performance monitoring tools.
- Implement threat protection technologies and collaborate with security teams during incident response activities.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, security documentation, and compliance records.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to deliver infrastructure upgrades and security projects.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership when needed.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity.
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and Cisco networking technologies.
- Expertise in enterprise routing, switching, WAN, VPN, and high-availability solutions.
- Experience securing and managing AWS networking services, including VPCs, security groups, VPNs, and access controls
Pay: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
