Summary
We are seeking energetic and friendly candidates to fill a full-time Service Writer/Advisor position immediately. This role involves working 40+ hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with one day off each week. We are closed on Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Creating purchase orders and ordering parts as needed
- Receiving purchase orders and stocking shelves
- Assisting customers with parts, service, and rentals
- Maintaining proper inventory levels
- Ensuring correct costs and parts in LightSpeed POS software
- Creating vendor returns as needed
- Assisting with warranty processes
- Maintaining a clean parts area
- Creating service estimates and repair orders
- Assisting service technicians with repair order parts
- Conducting monthly and yearly inventory
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Basic computer skills
Preferences:
- Forklift/skid steer experience is a plus
- Retail or inventory control experience is strongly preferred
- Mechanically inclined individuals are encouraged to apply
