Division Manager | Electrical Construction
Wilmington, NC | Onsite | Full-Time
$150,000–$170,000 Base Salary
We are partnering with an established electrical construction organization seeking an experienced Division Manager to lead its Wilmington, North Carolina operation.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who has already managed a division or substantial business unit within the electrical construction industry and is comfortable owning the full operational and financial performance of the business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Wilmington division
- Own division financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and budget-to-actual results
- Oversee project management, estimating, job processing, and profitability reviews
- Review and approve design-build estimates within authorized limits
- Monitor project productivity, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and workforce planning across projects
- Lead weekly management meetings and monthly operational reviews
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial construction clients
- Maintain strong safety, compliance, fleet, supplier, and operational standards
- Partner with executive leadership on long-term division growth and strategy
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of relevant construction leadership experience
- Previous Division Manager experience within electrical construction
- Proven responsibility for the operational and financial performance of an electrical construction division
- Strong knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, estimating, and project management
- Experience leading teams across operations, finance, production, project management, and business development
- Established understanding of commercial electrical construction
- Experience developing relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial clients
- Strong leadership, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in both office and active job-site environments
- Ability to work onsite in Wilmington, NC
Preferred
- Experience managing a large electrical construction operation with multiple concurrent projects
- Proven history of increasing division revenue and profitability
- Experience leading organizational growth and operational improvement initiatives
Compensation
$150,000–$170,000 base salary, depending on experience.
