Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. Seeking a candidate with 5 years or more experience as an HVAC service technician. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and utilizing your mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems. A valid driver's license is required for this position. Pay will be based on skill level and experience.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Design and build HVAC systems according to specifications
- Weld components together to assemble HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot system issues and make necessary repairs
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics (desired)
- Experience in maintaining, designing, building, and welding HVAC systems
- Knowledge of HVAC principles and practices
- Ability to plumb HVAC systems effectively
- Required EPA certifications
- Great communication skills with ability to discuss various options with clients when it comes to heating and cooling systems and repair/replacement alternatives.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Clean background check with no criminal convictions and drug free.
