Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets and catering functions
- Uphold all food handling safety protocols and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage presentation
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience in fine dining settings or catering environments is highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
