Ojai Mountain Farm is a bar, market, and deli rooted in our organic farm, where everything we serve is guided by seasonality, craftsmanship, and a true farm-to-table approach. Position Summary
The Dishwasher plays an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining clean dishes, equipment, and workspaces while supporting the back-of-house team. If you have prep or line cook experience—or would like to learn—we may be able to offer additional hours, cross-training, and a higher rate of pay based on your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dish area, kitchen, and prep spaces clean and organized.
- Assist with trash, recycling, deliveries, and general kitchen support.
- Follow sanitation and food safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams.
Expectations & Requirements
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
