Engineering Project Manager (Mechanical / Electrical / Energy / Controls)
Job Location : Meadville, PA office; Charlotte, NC office
Job Duties:
Design and specifications for thermal and power energy/renewable energy projects at industrial, commercial, institutional and government facilities
Conduct energy audits of industrial processes and commercial operations at existing facilities and evaluate and recommend energy efficiency improvements
Development of engineering cost estimates and life-cycle cost analyses for CHP and district heating projects
Project management for feasibility studies, project design, permitting, bid document development or review, and construction oversight
Presentations to clients
Requirements:
5-15 years experience is envisioned, but other levels of experience will be considered
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering from ABET accredited school
EIT certification or PE is a plus, but not required
A high level of proficiency with drafting software is required
Must be willing to perform a wide array of project development tasks and activities including:
Writing of reports and memos
System design
Development of project schedules
Development of drawings and specifications
Cost estimation
Construction / design oversight
