Dental Assistant

Cambridge Dental Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clinical precision and enjoys building genuine rapport with patients and providers alike.
We are an established, trusted practice that includes faculty from Harvard School of Dental Medicine among our providers, with a loyal patient base and a collaborative team environment. We're looking for someone who values consistency, professionalism, and doing the work well, every time.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist across a range of procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
- Take dental X-rays and assist with diagnostics
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Maintain proper infection control protocols
- Update and manage patient records accurately
- Support front office and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Massachusetts X-ray certification required
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
- Familiarity with Carestack dental software is a plus
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and patient-focused

Required Licensure
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
- Registered Dental Assistant
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
