Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect aircraft interiors including seats, tray tables, lavatories, windows, and overhead bins
- Ensure galleys are cleaned and stocked to airline standards
- Vacuum and mop floors and clean all surfaces with approved products
- Collaborate with team members and airport personnel to meet flight cleaning schedules
- Maintain high safety and customer service standards
- Stay on task in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
- Perform additional cleaning or support duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Comfortable using tablets, iPads, and mobile devices
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Eligible for airport security clearances (TSA, FAA, Port Authority, etc.)
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 25 lbs frequently
- Stand and walk for long periods
- Bend, stretch, squat, kneel, crawl, and reach as needed
- Work in confined spaces and around aircraft equipment
- Exposure to biohazards, chemicals, and moderate to high noise
- Repetitive motions required using hands, arms, and wrists
- Strong vision (near, far, peripheral, depth, and ability to focus)
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments like airports or transportation hubs.
- Experience with car wash, detailing, buffing, or window tinting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with crew members and passengers when needed.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or vacuums safely and effectively.
- Valid driving license preferred for moving equipment or assisting with ground operations when required.
- Demonstrated reliability with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in busy settings.
