Now Hiring: Assistant Restaurant Manager
Sonic Drive-In in Aztec is looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead daily restaurant operations. You'll support the General Manager, train and coach the team, and make sure every guest has a great experience — fast, friendly, and consistent.
What You'll Do:
- Train, monitor, and coach Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops
- Direct staff to keep food service on standard
- Enforce restaurant policies and the employee handbook
- Open and/or close the restaurant
- Manage staffing levels, inventory, and food cost
- Complete weekly inventory
- Handle admin duties: files, records, required documentation
- Resolve guest complaints and reinforce a customer-first culture
What You Need:
- Restaurant or QSR management experience (6+ months) OR 1+ year entry-level retail management
- Ability to run a shift without supervision
- Strong communication, basic math, and computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve independently
- Availability for irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to follow SONIC's appearance and hygiene standards
