A Spice of Life is seeking dependable and motivated Café Team Members to support daily operations across multiple café locations in the Boulder, CO area. This role focuses on food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized café environment.
Team members will play a key role in ensuring efficient service, consistent food quality, and a positive experience for all guests across our café locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to company standards and recipes
- Assist with daily café operations including stocking, setup, and breakdown
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, service, and dining areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Support inventory organization and restocking as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members and leadership
- Help ensure timely service during busy periods
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired:
- Previous experience in food service, café, or restaurant environment preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in corporate dining or high-volume service
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Cooking or prep experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for 8–9 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a busy kitchen and café environment
Work Environment
