MRI Technologist

Hours: No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Operate MRI equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures
Prepare and position patients for MRI exams
Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Administer IV contrast as needed
Complete daily quality assurance and safety checks on MRI equipment
Maintain accurate patient documentation and EMR records
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
Follow HIPAA, infection control, and MRI safety guidelines
Assist with ACR compliance and accreditation requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
MRI Board Certification required
Current CRT license required
Current BLS/CPR certification required
High School Diploma or GED required
1–4 years of MRI or radiology experience preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
