Job Overview
This is an Independent Pharmacy and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented California Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient medication profiles, and ensuring accurate medication delivery within various healthcare settings. Your expertise will contribute directly to patient safety, efficient pharmacy operations, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, including counting, labeling, and packaging medications in accordance with legal and safety standards
- Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment, storage organization, and proper disposal of expired drugs
- Effectively communicating with patients
- Contact doctors for prescription refills
- Answer telephone calls
- Perform cashiering functions and other customer service
- Keeping pharmacy organized and clean
- Other pharmacy related tasks
Requirements:
-Bilingual: English/Spanish
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility to obtain one within 90 days of hire date)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Schedule: Weekdays, part-time hours
Pay: $18–$23 per hour, depending on experience
Work Location: In person
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
