Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our menu standards while maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols. This role requires teamwork, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development to ensure variety and quality of offerings.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timing for catering events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety guidelines within the kitchen environment.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
Looking for AM Prep Cook (Hours range from 8-230pm) five days a week.
Will be requested to work Holiday events
- Previous experience in a restaurant t preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and meal planning is essential
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation is highly desirable.
